Functional Description FTLD:

the P3I embedded gps/ins (egi) + with multi mode receiver (mmr) unit is a SELF- contained all attitude navagation line replaceable unit providing outputs of acceleration, attitude (azimuth, pitch, roll) , attitude rates, heading, position, velocity, associated time tag information, and universal time coordinated (utc) sychronized time via externally controlled MIL-STD-1553B dual multiplex data bus which receives data and transmits updated data based the requirements of the interfacing avionics systems. the mmr provides for a protected instrument landing system (P-Ils) , a very high omni bearing receiver (vor) , and a marker beacon (mb) functionality. the egi+ w/mmr provides simultaneous inertial, blended and gps only position solutions. it incorporates a gsar based receiver.
