PARENT_CAGE: Commercial and government entity (cage) code: a five position alphanumeric code assigned to companies which either fabricate items of production and/or have design control of items procured by the federal government. The first and fifth positions will be numeric with the second, third, and fourth positions being alpha or numeric, excluding alpha i and o. If the cage is nato (ncage) the first and/or fifth positions will be an alpha. PMIC: Precious metals indicator code (pmic): this code is to identify items that have precious metals as part of their content. RELATED_INC: Item name code (inc): a five position numeric code that is assigned to each approved item name. Non-approved item names are assigned item name code 77777. In accordance with dod 4100.39-m, volume 10, table 20.
RELATED_NSN: Related national stock number: a national stock number related to the record national stock number by means of a management data phrase code. If the management data list phrase code is e, f, u, or 3 the master nsn must have i&s order of use recorded for this nsn.
REP: Repairable (non-consumable) and non-repairable/consumable management inventory segment of the category structure: the codes prescribed for this position delineate in which an item is either a repairable (non-consumable) or a non-repairable (consumable) item. In conjunction with the recoverability code (maintenance level), this code sets the foundation of classic categorization of consumable or non-consumable. REPLACEMENT_FSC: Fsc: a code which identifies the supply classification of an item of supply identified under the federal cataloging program, an item of production and/or a homogeneous area of commodities in respect to their physical or performance characteristics. The first two digits identify the federal supply group and the last two digits identify the specific class within the specified group. The combination of these four digits constitute the federal supply classification.

RNAAC: Reference number action activity code (rnaac): a two position alphanumeric code designating the activity which has acknowledged the possession or non-possession of a drawing or technical documentation. In accordance with dod 4100.39-m, volume 10, table 104.

RPLM_CODE: Replacement commercial and government entity code (cage): a commercial and government entity code (cage) which replaces a cancelled cage code or a nato commercial and government entity code (ncage). The replacement cage or ncage will be a five position alphanumeric code assigned to companies which either fabricate items of production and/or have design control of items procured by the federal government. WCC: Water commodity code: a series of codes used for all shipments via water, to identify commodities for ocean manifesting, military sea transportation service /msts/ billing, cost accounting and contractor payment, first position /numeric/ major commodity category, second position /alphanumeric/ minor commodity category, third position /alphanumeric/ specific commodity. E.g., code 515 or 51e from 500-799 series.
WOMAN_OWNED: Woman owned: a one position alpha code that is recorded in the commercial and government entity (cage) code master file, which indicates whether a business is woman owned or not. Code y indicates woman owned business. Code n indicates not a woman owned business.
WRAP_MAT: Wrapping material code: a two position alphanumeric code that identifies the type of wrapping material to be used on an item. In accordance with dod 4100.39-m, volume 10, table 182 and mil-std-2073-1e, appendix j, table j.iv.
W_ESDC: The codes for this group are alpha or numeric. For ussocom-managed items, these codes, in combination with the codes assigned in position 4, will identify a specific weapons system/end item or homogeneous group of items. Alpha code a through z, except the letters i and o, and numeric 1 through 9 and 0 (zero) are available. For managed items that cannot be identified to a specific ussocom weapons systems/end item this code will be the numeric 0.
