mineral oil
worm gear
super cylinder oil
high performance, high viscosity oil designed for use in all marine and industrial steam cylinder applications, protects against rust and corrosion, provides good sealing film strength, excellent lubricity and is resistant to water washout, excellent film integrity at high temperatures, excellent resistance to deposit formation at high temperatures, excellent antiwear and low friction properties, provides good sealing film around rods and in glands in steam applications
results in fewer unplanned stoppages and reduced maintenance costs, recommended for lubrication of steam cylinders, couplings, bearings, splash lubricated worm gear sets oprating at moderate to high speeds and temperatures, and for the break in of copressors cylinders; this product is not expected to produce adverse effects on health when used for the intended application, following the recommendations provided in the material safety data sheet (msds) ; msds's are available upon request through your sales contract office, or via the internet on http://www.exxonmobil.com. this product should not be used for purposes other than its intended use; if disposing of used product, take care to protect the environment
A refined mineral oil, with or without additives, suitable for applications which do not require special lubricants. It is commonly used for household uses, machinery, or the like. It may have added preservative qualities. Excludes lubricating oil (with other modifiers).
Packing shall be accomplished to meet the performance test requirements of astm-d4169, distribution cycle 18, assurance level 1.
Packing shall be accomplished in accordance with table c.ii for the packing level specified. closure, sealing and reinforcement shall be in accordance with the appropriate shipping container specification.
All packaging data is mandatory for compliance and no substitutions are permitted. fast packs should be included in this category.
No special marking.
OPI: Optional Procedure Indicator Code. A one position alpha code that indicates the allowable deviations from the prescribed requirements.
SPI No.: Special packaging instructions number.
LVL A/B/C: Indicates the type of shipping container required for level A, B, or C maximum packing protection.
SPC Mkg: A two position code that identifies the special markings applied to the container, which is part of the total pack to protect the contained item during preservation, packing, storage, transit and removal from the pack.
Indicates there is no information in the hmirs; however, the nsn is in a fsc in table i of federal standard 313 and a msds should be available to the user.
Item does not contain precious metal.
No known electrostatic discharge (esd) or electromagnetic interference (emi) sensitivity.
Represents items with no adp components
The item does not have a nuclear hardened feature or any other critical feature such as tolerance, fit restriction or application.
HMIC: Hazardous Material Indicator Code. A one position code that identifies a hazardous item.
PMIC: Precious Metal Indicator Code. A one position code which identifies items that have precious metals as part of their content. precious metals are those metals generally considered to be uncommon, highly valuable, and relatively superior in certain properties such as resistance to corrosion and electrical conductivity.
ESD: Electrostatic Discharge. Indicates if an item is susceptible to electrostatic discharge or electromagnetic interference damage. electrostatic discharge damage occurs when an accumulation of static electricity generated by the relative motion or separation of materials is released to another item by direct contact. electromagnetic interference damage occurs when an item comes into proximity with an electrostatic or magnetic field.
ENAC: Enviromental Attribute Code. Identifies items with environmentally preferred characteristics.
CRITL: Criticality Indicator Code. Indicates an item is technically critical by tolerance, fit, application, nuclear hardness properties, or other characteristics.
