the CIA100 is a high performance computer interface for video signals. the unit is compatible with a wide variety of analog video signals including vga, vga, xga, sxga, xga, mac, sun and other high resolution workstations, standard vga connectors - eaturing 15-pin hd female connectors for input and local monitor output, the CIA100 connects directly to pc, mac and sgi graphics ports and local monitors that have 15-pin hd connectors using standard vga cables (no proprietary input cables required) , ultra high resolution amplification - the CIA100 offers 400 mhz video bandwidth, selectable output sync format - the unit can be set for rgbhv, rgbs or rgsb output sync as required by the data display device and signal distribution system. the CIA100 does not strip sync off of the green signal (i.e. rgsb input signals appear at the output as rgsb)
A self-contained item which permits the transfer of information between various types of computer support equipment and computers which would not otherwise be compatible. Excludes modem, communication; expander card, computer, automatic data processing; circuit card assembly; and cable assembly (as modified).
OPI: Optional Procedure Indicator Code. A one position alpha code that indicates the allowable deviations from the prescribed requirements.
SPI No.: Special packaging instructions number.
LVL A/B/C: Indicates the type of shipping container required for level A, B, or C maximum packing protection.
SPC Mkg: A two position code that identifies the special markings applied to the container, which is part of the total pack to protect the contained item during preservation, packing, storage, transit and removal from the pack.
Indicates there is no data in the hmirs and the nsn is in a fsc not generally suspected of containing hazardous materials.
Precious metal content is unknown
Adp accessorial equipment. Represents accessorial equipment which is considered to be a component, device, or unit that is related directly to and essential in the operation of adpe. Included in this class are complete units and components of related general purpose accessorial equipment which are used as part of a system such as weapon system, control system, missile system, communications system, or navigational system. It also encompasses various units or devices and associated control units that are used in combination or conjuction with the adpe configuration but are not part of the configuration itself.
The item does not have a nuclear hardened feature or any other critical feature such as tolerance, fit restriction or application.
HMIC: Hazardous Material Indicator Code. A one position code that identifies a hazardous item.
PMIC: Precious Metal Indicator Code. A one position code which identifies items that have precious metals as part of their content. precious metals are those metals generally considered to be uncommon, highly valuable, and relatively superior in certain properties such as resistance to corrosion and electrical conductivity.
ESD: Electrostatic Discharge. Indicates if an item is susceptible to electrostatic discharge or electromagnetic interference damage. electrostatic discharge damage occurs when an accumulation of static electricity generated by the relative motion or separation of materials is released to another item by direct contact. electromagnetic interference damage occurs when an item comes into proximity with an electrostatic or magnetic field.
ENAC: Enviromental Attribute Code. Identifies items with environmentally preferred characteristics.
CRITL: Criticality Indicator Code. Indicates an item is technically critical by tolerance, fit, application, nuclear hardness properties, or other characteristics.
