An item designed to sterilize items such as surgical instruments, surgical dressings and linen used for medical purposes. After sterilization, the case protects the sterilized items during storage and transport against contamination. It is also used for safe return transportation of the contaminated material for reprocessing purposes.

ENAC: Enviromental Attribute Code. Identifies items with environmentally preferred characteristics.
CRITL: Criticality Indicator Code. Indicates an item is technically critical by tolerance, fit, application, nuclear hardness properties, or other characteristics.
