An item, basically cylindrical in shape, designed to mate with the shaft of a variable resistor, capacitor, and the like, to provide a high voltage insulated coupling between the shaft and knob end, and also between the electronic component and the panel. The knob end (end exposed to the operator) of the item may be terminated in a shape and/or size other than that of the component being insulated. The item includes facilities for supporting and insulating the component(s) by having female threads on one end and male threaded mounting bushing on the other end separated by an insulating material.
