A fitting having one or two branches which are fixed at various angles other than 90 degrees (1.5705 radians) to the run. It is used as a junction at the intersection of a drainage line and is provided with a shoulder(s) at the end(s) of its internal threaded or unthreaded portion, conforming to standard weight wrought iron pipe or copper drainage, waste and vent (dwv) tube. When connected, the mating pipe and/or pipe fitting is close to the shoulder to eliminate a pocket and provide a smooth flow to the contents of the line. It may have side inlet(s).
