general description; the army requires a standardized portable worldwide deployable kennel system (wdks) essentially consisting of a standalone shelter (a dog house) and an attachable enclosed exercise area (a dog run) . the worldwide deployable kennel system when dismantled and prepared for shipment, is suitable for transport worldwide by any available mode, including manual transport over short distances. when erected for use, the wdks shall be suitable to provide humane, durable, safe, sanitary, all weather outdoor shelter for the military working dog for periods of up to 180 days with minimal requirements for external power or other support.
