An item designed to secure or restrain movement of unfolded rotary wing blades while the aircraft is on the ground. It consists of a suitable rotary blade attaching device(s), with provisions for securing to the aircraft structure, deck loops, ground loops, or stakes. It may include assemblies consisting of rigid or semirigid tubing, or the like, with blade attaching facility(ies) at one end, and the other end designed to attach to the fuselage or contoured to fit the aircraft fuselage, with provisions for securing purposes. It may include a warning streamer to indicate removal before flight. It may be equipped with a tightening device.
