Used on c-17a globemaster. seal instl nonmetallic cargo ramp seal is made from p/n 17P3A1950-30 core; p/n 17P3A1950-31 cover, cloth polyester mesh per dms 2356 type 2 class 3; & p/n 17P3A1950-34 cover, elastomer silicone per dms 2221, type 1, grade 50. -31 is embedded inside -34 cover. seal is u shaped & is 15.84" from the outside of one leg to the outside of the other. legs measure 12.55" long before begining to curve at a 7.92 inch radius to from the bottom of the u. seal superseeds p/n 17P3A1950-22
